Put Yourself in Our Boots bolstered by grants
The Alberta Traffic Safety Fund recently approved a pair of grant applications by the John Petropoulos Memorial Fund aimed at improving traffic safety for emergency responders.
The grants will give a boost to the Put Yourself in Our Boots safety initiative by funding the creation of print and radio PSAs highlighting the importance of safe driving around emergency vehicles and emergency scenes. As well, the grants will help pay for promotional items for the campaign and TV, radio and print advertisements.
Meanwhile, the JPMF is currently completing a final report regarding the Community Spirit Program grant the Memorial Fund received earlier this year. Many thanks to the Alberta Government’s Ministry of Culture and Community Spirit for approving the grant and supporting the JPMF.
