Big Boots to Fill

The Big Boots to Fill initiative is the fundraising component of our Put Yourself in Our Boots workplace safety campaign.

The fundraising campaign’s slogan is “We’ve got big boots to fill, so help us fill them.”

The first part of the slogan - “We’ve got big boots to fill” - is a reminder that we’ve got a lot of work to do when it comes to educating the public about the importance of workplace safety to emergency responders. The John Petropoulos Memorial Fund is doing everything it can to eliminate preventable workplace injuries and fatalities to emergency services personnel, but we need your help to deliver our message - and our resources - to those who need it.

The first part of the slogan is also a reference to the amazing job police, fire and EMS personnel do on a daily basis.

The second part of the slogan - “So help us fill them” - is a call to action. If workplace safety is important to you, help fill our boots. If the safety of police, fire and EMS personnel is important to you, help fill our boots. If you want emergency responders to return home safely to their families after every shift, help fill our boots.
